The Syracuse Community Health Center is committed to building a strong relationship with the Central New York community through advocacy programs and recognition of national health care initiatives. Concerned citizens have opportunities to participate in advocacy programs at national, state and grass roots levels.
Each month, the Syracuse Community Health Center observes one or more health care initiatives to promote the opportunity to educate the local community on preventive and best care practices for a variety of health care issues.
SCHC family members volunteered to participate in breast cancer awareness month activities by creating a quilt donated to the Susan B. Komen Foundation for cancer patients.
