Medical Assistant - Family Medicine, LaFayette

(Full Time FTE 100%) Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:15pm

Responsible for coordinating patient flow and to prepare patients for examination/treatment by provider; ensure availability of appropriate equipment; obtain patient histories, record vital signs, obtain specimens, escort patients as required; participate in patient care conferences; maintain clean environment, comply with safety and health and hazardous material rules and regulations. Ability to read, write and follow directions. Medical Assistant and EKG experience required. Phlebotomy training or experience preferred. Hospital or ambulatory care experience preferred. Medical Assistant or completion of a Medical Assistant Certificate program required. Three to six months of relevant experience is required. Current CPR certification required.
