Member / Provider Services Representative - Total Care

(2 Full Time FTE 100%) Mon. - Fri. 8:30am - 5:15pm

Responsible to answer incoming member and provider calls in a call center/ACD and lobby environment. Responds to callers/visitors with Plan information and resolves member/provider issues. Handles member and provider complaints and is responsible for following the NYSDOH approved complaint process. The Member Services Representative completes new member orientation either in-group settings, on the phone, or in limited instances through home visits. The Bilingual capabilities preferred. Ability to think logically for interpreting and analyzing problems.

Computer proficiency. High School Diploma or GED required, Associates degree preferred. Two (2) years of customer service experience and familiarity with health care delivery systems including Medicaid and Managed care. One (1) year Medicaid Managed Care experience preferred.
