- Director, AmeriCorps Program
(Full Time FTE 100%) Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:15 pm
Directs, administers, plans and implements all activities and services for the AmeriCorps program. These responsibilities include ensuring the efficiency and regulatory compliance and the adherence to the AmeriCorps program to state and federal guidelines while maintaining SCHC’s expectations of cost effectiveness and enhancement to the delivery of services to patients.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, Master’s preferred. Three to five years of relevant experience is required, knowledge of healthcare and managed care preferred. Must posssess ability to plan, coordinate and supervise both staff and program development. Knowledge of management practices and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- School Based Health Director - School Based Health Center Program (Full Time ) Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:15 pm
The SBHC Director is responsible for the leadership, management and overall functioning of the school-based program. The SBHC Director will be responsible to coordinate services in order to provide a comprehensive system of medical care, mental health counseling, health education, dental services, peer education, mentoring and other risk prevention services for the youth population of our school community.
Requirements: Candidate should possess:
1. Masters Degree in public health, public administration, social work, counseling and guidance, psychology or related field.
2. Minimum of five years of increasing levels of experience managing a multi- service non profit or health/education-related agency, hiring and supervising staff, program development, budget management, and fundraising including significant experience with successful grant writing.
3. Have significant understanding of and experience with at-risk adolescents and their health and well-being including physical, emotional, educational, social and cultural concerns.
4. Have significant understanding of and experience with ethically diverse populations and related issues.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of local and regional health care industry preferred.
6. Demonstrated experience with performance improvement, data retrieval, statistics, forms design and quality improvement techniques. 7. Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and thorough knowledge of JCAHO and NYS DOH standards.
- Payroll & Employee Benefits Administrator – Human Resources
(Full Time FTE 100%) Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:15 pm
Responsibilities include preparing, checking and processing a bi-weekly payroll for all non-exempt and exempt employees. Coordinate all employee benefit program activities. Will execute HR and payroll administrative processes to include data entry, audit analysis, HRIS support, and report development in support of the organization and its employees. In addition, will proactively apply knowledge of all relevant federal and state taxes and requirements to anticipate and resolve payroll and employee benefit issues. Ensure IRS and DOL compliance.
Requirements: Associates Degree in Business or equivalent field, Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred, Working knowledge at an intermediate skill level in ADP Payroll Administration to include Pay eXpert, Enterprise eTime and MS Office, Three to five years of experience of payroll experience and additional training/certification in Payroll Administration, Three to five years of experience administering employee benefit programs and Healthcare experience preferred.

CMCM Case Manager – CMCM
(Full Time FTE 100%) Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:15pm
Paraprofessional who provides home visits and support to pregnant woman and families of children under age one in attaining a healthy pregnancy, effective parenting, and self-sufficiency through client follow-up, and acting as an advocate in assisting clients in obtaining services. HSD or equivalent required. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work under supervision and receive direction and sensitivity toward the client population required. New York State Driver’s License and vehicle preferred.

Medical Records Clerk – Medical Records, Salina Street
(Full Time FTE 75%) Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 2:30pm
(Part Time FTE 50%) Monday – Friday, 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Responsible for daily storage, maintenance and update of all patient charts and records. High School diploma or equivalent required. Good organizational skills. Clerical experience preferred. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods of time, climbing, reaching and lifting up to 30lbs.
- Patient Access Specialist - Patient Access, Various Locations
(On-Call FTE 0%) As needed
The Patient Access Specialist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors to the department, primarily patients, verifying patient information, updating demographics, issuing encounters, requesting payments, performing charge entry and answering telephones. The Patient Access Specialist must also provide quality customer service at all times to patients, visitors and other people presenting at or contacting the Health Center. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Additional education/certification in healthcare/medical office field is preferred. Applicable work experience may be substituted for formal education beyond High School. Minimum one (1) year experience as a Medical Office Assistant, Receptionist or Secretary in a health care environment required. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all staff and patients needed. Must have the ability to independently research and retrieve information from internal reference material or from outside sources. Demonstrated computer skills; data entry skills, Math Skills (+, -, x, /); and the ability to use a calculator. Knowledge of procedural/diagnostic coding, ADA/CPT-4 and ICD-9-CM, preferred.

Full Time 100% FTE), Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:15pm
Responsible for chair side assistance; preparation of patient for treatment; maintaining instrumentation flow; OSHA regulations and patient flow. High School diploma or equivalent required; successful completion of dental assisting training source and 0 to 3 years experience preferred. CPR Certification required. -

Medical Assistant – OBGYN, Salina Street
(Full Time FTE 100%) Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:15pm, rotating evenings & weekends
Responsible for coordinating patient flow and to prepare patients for examination/treatment by provider; ensure availability of appropriate equipment; obtain patient histories, record vital signs, obtain specimens, escort patients as required; participate in patient care conferences; maintain clean environment, comply with safety and health and hazardous material rules and regulations. Ability to read, write and follow directions. Medical Assistant, EKG and Phlebotomy training is necessary. Associates Degree as a Medical Assistant or completion of a Medical Assistant Certificate program required. Three to six months of relevant experience is required. Current CPR certification required.
