SYRACUSE, August 30, 2019 — Syracuse Community Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center serving the greater Syracuse area, announced that Dana Baker, FNP has joined Syracuse Community Health Center, Inc. as a Nurse Practitioner. Dana will be working in the Adult Medicine Department at the Salina Street location.
Dana received a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies from American University in Washington, DC. She later pursued her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing Degree from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing. Furthering her education at Le Moyne College, she received her Post-Baccalaureate RN-to-MSN Certificate and just graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Dana worked as a RN for many years at St. Joseph’s Health in the Surgical and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and most recently on the Vascular Access Team. She also worked as Substitute School Nurse and for the Onondaga County Justice Center. Dana completed her clinical rotations in Adult Medicine and now joins the SCHC family.
