SYRACUSE, November 8, 2019 — Syracuse Community Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center serving the greater Syracuse area, announced that Virginia Cronin, PhD, FNP-BC has joined Syracuse Community Health Center, Inc. as a Nurse Practitioner. Virginia will be working at the West Side location.
Virginia received her Nursing Diploma from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from State University of New York College of Technology. Ginnie received her FNP Certificate from Community General Hospital and later received her Master of Science in Nursing from Upstate Medical University. She also received a Master of Arts in Sociology and a PhD in Social Science from Syracuse University. Ginnie worked at the Onondaga Nation Health Center for over twenty years, part of which was through the health center. Ginnie recently worked at Le Moyne College where she was the Director of Graduate Nursing and Director of Advanced Practice Nursing where she developed and launched the FNP program.
