SYRACUSE, October 5, 2017 — Syracuse Community Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center serving the greater Syracuse area, announced that Brandiss Pearson, FNP, Nurse Practitioner, joined Syracuse Community Health Center, Inc. October 1, 2017. Ms. Pearson will be working in our School Based Health Center located at Delaware Elementary School, Syracuse, New York.
Brandiss received her BSSW in Social Work from Syracuse University. Followed by her Registered Nursing license at St. Joseph’s College of Nursing, Brandiss later received her RN to MS Nursing Certificate at Le Moyne College. Brandiss recently completed the MSN program at SUNY Upstate Medical University and is now a Family Nurse Practitioner. Brandiss continues employment as Associate Professor at St. Joseph’s College of Nursing and also is a Health Leadership Fellow with the Health Foundation for Western & Central New York. Her many accomplishments include being a Board Member for Amaus Medical Services, participating in a medical mission trip to Ghana and being the Founder and Facilitator of the “I’m Possible Dreams Mentoring Program”.
